Technology, Trends, & Tomorrow
What is GYHS?
MDJunior has been around for 15 years, mobilizing over 5000 youth across the world towards our audacious vision to bridge the health gap. GYHS stand as a beacon of our commitment to fostering dialogue, innovation, and action among youth in health.
We believe that youth are the changemakers of TODAY not just tomorrow. GYHS is our global forum for bringing together our most passionate youth leaders, public health mentors, healthcare industry veterans, policymakers, and social entrepreneurs, all to underscore the vital importance of youth voice in healthcare.
Our goal in uniting the healthcare ecosystem is to “Inspire, Engage, Collaborate.”
As part of the summit, students also have the unique opportunity to put on their competitive hats and engage in our pitch competition, where they'll work together in teams to showcase their entrepreneurial hats on a pressing healthcare issue.
Inspire. Engage. Collaborate.
We believe healthcare requires youth voice at the table where decisions are made. Only this will enable our ecosystem to tackle the most pressing problems our generation faces today.
About Our Theme
Our theme, “Health 2.0: Technology, Trends, & Tomorrow” looks ahead to the future of healthcare, where new ideas, personalized approaches, and emerging tools are changing how we understand and improve well-being. It invites young people to take the lead in this shift by using resources like data, digital platforms, and artificial intelligence, while also tackling important challenges such as mental health, misinformation, and global health equity. Grounded in MDJunior’s Lifestyle Health Agenda, the summit will show how technology can support physical, mental, and emotional health, and how youth leadership can spark real change. From exploring careers in medicine and public health to developing practical solutions for community health issues, this year’s sessions will encourage attendees to think deeply, work together, and take action. Together, we will explore how to innovate with purpose, lead with empathy, and help build a healthier, more connected world.
