  • Dr. Arthi Rao

    Dr. Arthi Rao is a Geospatial Data Scientist and Senior Research Scientist at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where she serves as Associate Director of the Center for Health and Humanitarian Systems. With a background in urban planning and spatial epidemiology, she researches how social determinants of health and the built environment influence community well being. Her work applies advanced statistical and geospatial methods to develop data driven insights that guide healthier, more equitable communities and inform public health policy.

  • Dr. Jingbing Bai

    Dr. Jinbing Bai is an Associate Professor at the Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing and a member of the Winship Cancer Institute at Emory University. For over 15 years, he has researched symptom science, patient-reported outcomes, and the gut microbiome, particularly its role in cancer treatment. His work has advanced understanding of how biological and psychosocial factors, including social determinants of health, influence cancer outcomes and patient experiences. Dr. Bai is also committed to mentoring students and training future researchers in cancer and related fields.

  • Jemea Dorsey

    Jemea Dorsey is the CEO of the Center for Black Women’s Wellness, a community-based nonprofit providing affordable healthcare, prenatal case management, youth development, and micro-business training to over 2,000 families annually. With more than 16 years of experience in nonprofit management, she has led program development, secured millions in funding, and built strategic partnerships to advance women’s health and address issues such as HIV/AIDS, mental health, and maternal wellness. Jemea is committed to creating equitable access to care and improving health outcomes for women and families.

  • Dr. Roxana Chicas

    Dr. Roxana Chicas is a Latina nurse, climate scientist, and advocate for workers’ rights, who has dedicated her career to advancing health equity and labor policies with/for Latino farmworker communities. Her leadership, teaching, prolific writing, and research have helped to cultivate national awareness of climate-health threats. Dr. Chicas currently serves as an Assistant Professor at Emory University Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing.

  • Dr. Paul Wolpe

    Dr. Paul Root Wolpe, Ph.D., is the Raymond Schinazi Distinguished Research Chair of Jewish Bioethics at Emory University and founder of the Emory Center for Peacebuilding and Conflict Transformation. Formerly NASA’s first senior bioethicist, he has led national organizations in bioethics and received the 2025 Humanitarian Award from the International Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

  • Yash Vagal

    Yash Vagal is the founder and CEO of Curanostics, an AI powered health platform that integrates medical records, wearables, and health app data to deliver personalized insights for long term wellness. He is passionate about leveraging technology to improve patient care, promote preventative health, and address pressing public health challenges through accessible, data driven solutions.
